Really Rare
The definition/description of “rare” in the collecting world is: seldom occurring or found : uncommon : marked by unusual quality, merit, or appeal : distinctive. All the pieces of Chalet that you will see here meet those criteria and are therefore, interesting and/or valuable.

Karen Jordan found a very rare piece - the A 40 was produced only at the very onset of Chalet Artistic Glass.

This Chalet for Riekes stickered bell is not a piece that many of us have seen.

Chalet Christmas trees were only made once a year. And very few green coloured ones were produced during that time. Marcus Wharton is fortunate to have this piece for Santa and Frosty.

Rare in both pose and colouring, this Chalet goose figurine has also been found in clear crystal.

The Chalet paperweights are eagerly collected. They came in a few designs and colour versions. This is a particular favourite of mine.

This was the very first Chalet paperweight that I ever saw. I was lucky enough to find it just before the 2010 Chalet exhibit opened in Cornwall so it went on display. Chalet Maestro Bruno Panizzon was stunned when he saw it as he was not aware that Chalet had ever produced paperweights and he was an artist there for over 12 years. If it hadn't been etched "Chalet Canada', I do not think he would have believed it was Chalet.

this is only the second Chalet elephant I have seen of this style. Pink and dimpled - you would never have guessed it to be Chalet. Kevin Hall was certainly surprised when he turned it over and found the Chalet sticker.

This style of Chalet rabbit figurine is usually coloured blue and avventurina. I do not know why this little guy is clear crystal. A very intriguing and possibly a one of a kind piece owned by Robert Hyland.

Chalet was obviously not inspired by the whale in Moby Dick as that one was white. I would love to see a Chalet whale figurine in opaline. but in the interim, this very unusual one will do!

This is the only solidly coloured Chalet "fingertip" platter that we know of to date. Etched "Chalet Canada." As I said earlier, I do love to display this piece on a plate stand as it take up so much less room, adds interest and really show off those design features.
