Deborah Patterson is an ardent Chalet collector. An interior designer, she decorated with Chalet for years until “that piece” (17” crystal twist vase) triggered the collecting bug. Deborah is married with 2 children and is grateful for her family’s indulgence of her glass passion. She was the lead coordinator of and major exhibitor at the 2010 Chalet retrospective “The Art & Artisans of Chalet Glass” in Cornwall, Ontario. In 2011, she published “The Shapes & Colours of Chalet Art Glass” resource art book. Since then, she has continued to concentrate on learning more about Chalet’s history, lines and branding. To this end, in 2011, she published the first “Chalet Marks, Labels and Product Lines” reference guide – since evolving into 2019’s ‘Chalet Crystal Clear’ and the newly published ‘Chalet Artistic Glass Collectors’ Guide and Catalogue.’ She is also the Administrator for 2 Chalet collectors’ Face Book groups.
