Unboxing of a rare Chalet “forato” piece.

I thought you might enjoy an ‘unboxing’ video - of a very rare “forato” Chalet piece. “Forato” means pierced in Italian. We see this design technique used quite commonly in EDAG pieces but this is the only Chalet piece that we know of that had this feature. This piece did not go forward into later production. Nor did they create other “forato” pieces.

This piece is inventory# A40 shown in the earliest Chalet catalogue page. This brochure was hand drawn to avoid even the suggestion of conformity in the working of the glass.
